1. we will probably implement christifidelis laici next year.

2. oka will arrange meeting with nicholas on saturdays before mass.

3. feedback on previous session :

session prayer:

- practical, give tips what can be done

- good personal sharing on difficulties in prayer

- lack personal testimony on God's love. can be emphasise more

session scripture:

- can identify with difficulties in reading scripture

- good flow and transition, easy to follow.

- visual aid simple and used simple words.

session purification:

- interesting delivery

- good examples from saints

- good analogy usung a silver smith

4. we will try to give feedback immediately after the session either through email or using forms. need to get feedback from non teaching ministry member

5. we might shift the last series to help for the exam rally for west district

6. agreed to screen movies on mother theresa. it was suggested to work together with loveworks and we can even invite sisters from missionary of charity to come to st mary

7. oka will discuss with core on adopting css bible study as emmaus? program.

8. next meeting input will still be on discernment. july is sixth month of probation. september will decide whether want to commit as teaching ministry member.

1. The teaching ministry members will discern and gave 3 topics that he/she is considering to present, and Oka will decide who will present them. The members are to submit the 3 topics by Monday 2nd June 2008.
   
2. Proposed number of people in sharing group: 5-6 people
3. Teaching ministry members will help in facilitating sharing 1 and sharing 2.
4. We will encourage new members to join "facilitating group sharing" workshop on the 5/07/08 and 16/08/08 and allow them to try out on the 13/09/08 Sharing 3.
5. Proposed speakers besides teaching ministry: Br. John, Fr. Joe, Fr. John Paul, Fr. John Wong, Andy, Youth Office workers
   
6. Format of prayer meeting: 45 min P&W, 15 min Testimony, 20-30 min Talk. Talk will start at 8.30pm.

Feedback for YISS Teaching Session

1. the picture of Jesus knocking at the door is good and used several times in other sessions. Made impression on the participants.
2. some commented that the speaker took too much time on the illustration of pinocio and the question regarding jonah is not related to the topic at all.
3. did not handle presentation slides quite well.
4. the letter from God the Father was wonderful and it is good to be read while the participant reflect and listen.

1. some felt the joke that we can blame woman always could be offensive to some people.
2. the illustration on giving up our keys is good.
3. the message that Jesus is Lord is very clear.
4. one participant commented that the picture Jesus on our "whole" life was good.
5. it was suggested not to use white background on the slides since the light shone on the face of the speaker.

1. some commented the talk took quite longer time.
2. the picture of Mother Teresa, pope JP II, and the saints created impact.
3. some commented the outline for the session was less flowing from one point to another.
4. Healing: clear and flowing, mastering the topic very well.

1. good illustration on repentance using bottle turned and water flowing.
2. the outline was good and flowing.
3. the illustration on giving up the plastic necklace made impact.

4. good interaction with people by asking questions, good in engaging the participants.

1. The illustration of baptism was easy to understand using the image of sponge
2. participants can recall the "immersion" in the life of the Father and the Son and the Spirit.

1. Some people felt the speaker was a bit rushing the material.
2. it is good since the speaker give his life example.
3. good points, and very clear.

1. The meeting commenced at 8 pm with an opening prayer lead by Br Oka.
2. Spiritual input, given by Br Oka.
   "A call to preach"
   Mk 3:13-19
1. Jesus called the disciples first to be with him, and then to be sent to preach.
• He called them to share their life with His.
• He wanted to change them to be more like Him: loving outwardly, giving one's self for others
• The Good News to be preached is Jesus Himself, a person.

1. A Righteous Man Under The Law (16 Feb, by Maya)
   voice rather soft, good, practical, good sharing about St Therese and personal experience, still rather nervous at the begining.
2. Learning and Practicing Hope in Prayer, Action and Suffering (2 Feb, by Maya)
   it's good to highlight the verses, practical.
3. Facing The New Year With A True Christian Hope (19 Jan, by Oka)
   visual helps, good practical example about Faith means standing firm in God.
4. Updates for future sessions:
1. My conversion Story (23 Feb, by Erwin)
   Main point: Conversion is our continuous response to God's call to be holy
   Outline:
• to relate Paul's conversion to own's conversion
• time to reflect
• practical tips (some from personal experience)
• prayer to make 1st decission for conversion
2. Joining Community of Believer (1 Mar, by Titin)
   Objective: to find God in community, and to grow in community
   Inputs: to highlight "Christian community" instead of merely "community"
3. Struggling with the flesh & Learning true Love (8 Mar, by Oka)
   Objective: through our struggle and weaknesses, to love and depend on God
   Inputs: to explain about why we struggle, to explain that to love is God's grace and it does
4. Mission,  Persecution, and Suffering (15 Mar, by Iwan)
   Objective: to invite people and to know that we're all called and sent
   Main points:
   
   • God's call is irrevocable
   • Mission is not a reward for holiness, it is a mean to holiness
   Inputs: to cover about how each person has their own smaller callings and also the big calling to evangelize, to explain that God will equip those He calls
5. General Teaching Input:
1. to invite ppl to testify in relation to the previous sessions
2. to compile our outline and share it with teaching team
3. to relate to what ppl can do (practical things) esp for this lent season
6. Suggestion for overall prayer meeting outline:
1. talk 20 min
2. followed by worship and prayer
3. praying over / ministering (optional)
4. intercessory will be added in the future
7. YISS
1. teaching session:
• Iwan for session introduction
• Fr Frans can't make it for session 2
• Christine is contacting Fr Joe for session 2
• Session 1: emphasize the objective of LISS which is to make the definitive choice to say YES to God and NO to sin
2. ask facilitators to empasize the objective of LISS
3. Baptism of the Holy Spirit: Iwan and Oka will discuss to prepare
4. Closing Mass on 31 May will be combined with parish's sunset mass
5. Rooms on saturday are used for cathecism class till 4 pm. We need to find an arrangement for session 4 and 5 that will should start at 4 pm
6. meeting for cathecists to firm up LISS sessions: Sunday 16 Mar, 3 pm. LISS manual should be read beforehand, any changes should be highlighted. Oka will contact cathecists to read the manual
